Your Visit
What to Expect on the Day of Your Imaging
Arrival and Check-In
Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Bring your photo ID, insurance card, and your physician's order if it was not sent directly by your doctor's office. Our front desk team will check you in and answer any questions.
Pre-Exam Screening
Before your study begins, a technologist will review your medical history and any relevant safety information — particularly for MRI, which requires screening for metal implants or devices. You may be asked to change into a gown for certain studies.
The Imaging Study
Our experienced technologists will guide you through the exam. Study duration varies: a chest X-ray takes a few minutes, while an MRI may take 30 to 60 minutes. You will be asked to remain still during image acquisition. Technologists are with you throughout the exam.
Results to Your Physician
After your exam, your images are interpreted by one of our board-certified radiologists, who generates a formal signed report. That report is delivered electronically to your referring physician — typically within 24 to 48 hours for routine studies.
If you have questions before your visit — about preparation, what to bring, or how a particular study works — our scheduling team is glad to help.
