Our Services
Comprehensive Outpatient Imaging
Six specialized imaging modalities under one ACR-accredited roof. Each study is read by a board-certified radiologist and delivered to your physician with clinical precision.
MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging produces detailed, high-resolution images of soft tissue, joints, the brain, and spine — without radiation. Our 1.5T and 3T systems deliver the clarity your physician needs for confident diagnosis.
Learn about MRICT Scan
Computed Tomography delivers fast, cross-sectional images used to evaluate trauma, vascular conditions, pulmonary issues, and abdominal concerns. Our low-dose CT protocols reduce radiation while maintaining diagnostic precision.
Learn about CT ScanEchocardiogram
A non-invasive cardiac ultrasound that visualizes heart structure and function in real time. Our echocardiograms give your cardiologist precise data on wall motion, valve function, and ejection fraction.

Our digital X-ray technology produces immediate, high-resolution images for evaluating fractures, chest conditions, and orthopedic concerns. Digital processing means faster results with less radiation than conventional film.
Learn about Digital X-RayUltrasound
Real-time ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to evaluate abdominal organs, pelvic structures, vascular flow, and soft tissue. No radiation. Safe for all patients, including those who are pregnant.

Common Questions
What patients and referring physicians most often want to know before scheduling.
Do I need a referral or prescription to schedule imaging?
Most imaging studies — including MRI, CT, and Ultrasound — require a physician's order. Your doctor's office can fax or electronically send your prescription directly to us. Once we receive it, our scheduling team will contact you to confirm your appointment.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, your physician's order (if not already sent by your doctor's office), and a list of any current medications. For some MRI studies, we'll ask about metal implants or devices before your scan.
How long does imaging take?
Study duration varies by the type of imaging. A chest X-ray takes just minutes. An MRI may take 30 to 60 minutes depending on the region studied. CT scans are typically completed in 15 to 30 minutes. Our staff will give you a specific time estimate when you schedule.
When will my doctor receive the results?
Your study is reviewed and reported by a board-certified radiologist on our staff. Most reports are delivered to your referring physician within 24 to 48 hours. For urgent clinical situations, results can be communicated more rapidly.
Does Orlando Diagnostic Center accept insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans. Insurance coverage varies by plan and by the type of study ordered. We recommend calling your insurance provider ahead of your appointment to confirm benefits and any applicable cost-sharing.
Are your centers ACR accredited?
Yes. Both our Longwood and Kissimmee locations are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) — the gold standard for imaging quality and safety in the United States. ACR accreditation means our equipment, staff, and protocols meet rigorous national standards.
